KOVPN Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing KOVPN. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the KOVPN application and related VPN services (the "Service").

The Service is provided by Tingji Tech. Co., Ltd (the "Company," "we," or "us"). By installing, accessing, or using KOVPN, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the Service.

By using the Service, you also agree to our KOVPN Privacy Policy.

1. Service Description

KOVPN provides VPN connection, server selection, connection status display, membership subscription, purchase restoration, device binding, and customer support features. We may continue to improve the Service and may modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features for operational, security, legal, or technical reasons.

Due to network conditions, device systems, server status, carrier restrictions, force majeure, and other factors, VPN connections may be interrupted, delayed, fail, or experience speed fluctuations. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service stability, but we do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for all network environments.

2. Accounts and Devices

You may use all features with a guest account, or you may bind or log in with an email account. A guest account may not be directly recoverable after data is cleared, the app is uninstalled and reinstalled, or the device is changed. Paid users are advised to bind an email account or keep verifiable purchase credentials.

Membership benefits belong to the KOVPN account and do not belong to a single device or an Apple ID / Google account. Apple, Google, or third-party payment platforms are responsible for processing payments and purchase credentials; the KOVPN server is responsible for verifying purchase status, granting membership benefits, and managing device authorization.

One valid membership may bind up to 5 valid devices (Mini membership is limited to one device). You may remove devices you no longer use in device management. Authorized devices may generate a short-term, one-time binding token to help a new device bind the membership.

3. Subscriptions, Payments, and Purchase Restoration

Some services require a paid subscription or purchase. The specific price, period, trial, renewal, and cancellation method are subject to the in-app display and the rules of the corresponding payment platform.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are usually managed by the corresponding platform for automatic renewal, cancellation, and refund. You need to manage the subscription in the corresponding platform account. Third-party payment orders may need to be checked by order number or manually verified.

After a purchase is completed, membership benefits are subject to the verification result from the KOVPN server. A successful payment result displayed by the client does not necessarily mean that the membership has been activated.

When restoring a purchase, you should use the original purchasing Apple ID, Google account, bound email account, binding token generated by an authorized device, or provide verifiable order information to customer support. If a purchase credential has already been bound to another KOVPN account, we may refuse automatic rebinding and guide you to log in to the original account or contact customer support.

After a refund, revocation, expiration, cancellation of renewal, or a change in payment platform status, we will update membership benefits based on the payment platform and server verification results.

4. Software License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal license to download, install, and use KOVPN on compatible devices that you own or control.

KOVPN software, services, interfaces, trademarks, content, and related rights remain owned by the Company or the relevant rights holders. All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved by the Company or the relevant rights holders.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of KOVPN and must ensure that your use complies with applicable laws and regulations. You may not use KOVPN for illegal, fraudulent, infringing, attacking, harassing, spam-related, malicious scanning, unauthorized access, malware distribution, child exploitation, security circumvention, network disruption, or other improper activities.

You may not resell, rent, transfer, share, crack, reverse engineer, copy, adapt, or otherwise use KOVPN software, accounts, subscriptions, or services in any unauthorized way.

If we find that you have violated these Terms, applicable laws, or engaged in conduct that harms service security or the rights of others, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate your account, device authorization, or access to the Service.

6. Privacy and Data

We process your information in accordance with the KOVPN Privacy Policy. KOVPN does not log your browsing history, websites visited, communications, DNS queries, or the content of data transmitted through the VPN.

To provide the Service, verify subscriptions, maintain security, and resolve issues, we may process necessary account, device, connection status, subscription, and diagnostic information.

7. Service Changes and Updates to These Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time to comply with legal requirements, add or adjust features, fix issues, maintain security, or prevent abuse. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notices or other appropriate means.

Your continued use of KOVPN after the updated Terms are published means that you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updates, you should stop using the Service.

8. Disclaimer

KOVPN is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee service continuity, absolute security, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific connection results.

Internet services involve inherent risks. You are responsible for taking appropriate measures to protect your devices, accounts, data, and network environment.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from the use of or inability to use KOVPN.

If applicable law does not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities, the limitations in these Terms will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
